Media buzzing about screening bill

The topic of funding Kentucky's state-wide screening program next session is gaining momentum, and this month the Legislative Research Commission's publication had a story on the top of the front page about the testimony Colon Cancer Prevention Project founder Dr. Whitney Jones gave before the Health & Welfare committee in November.

See the article here.

We are pushing for the state legislature to pass an $8 million appropriation for the screening program, which would save lives and money throughout Kentucky. So far, a number of newspapers, radio and tv stations, and others have covered this issue. We are ready and revved up to get this bill passed!
