Write or call your legislators, and join us at the March 1 rally at the Capital to support the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program, a program that will screen thousands of uninsured people each year and educate all Kentuckians about colon cancer risks, symptoms and screening. The Colon Cancer Prevention Project is currently starting a “buddy” program for people in the Louisville metro area who have been diagnosed with colon cancer. To be connected with a “buddy” or get more information on the program, contact Andrea Shepherd at (502) 290-0288 or (800) 841-6339, or e-mail ashepherd@c2p2ky.org.

Also, we are looking for volunteers who would like to be a “buddy.” Please e-mail or call if you are interested!
