Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cancer killer in both men and women in Kentucky, Indiana, and the United States. Join us to celebrate survivorship, support those touched by the disease, and remember those lost.  Together we can make colon cancer a disease of the past!

The Walk Away From Colon Cancer & 5K Run aims to raise awareness and funds to reduce preventable colon cancer by increasing screening rates through education, advocacy, and health systems improvement.  Each year, thousands of American families are affected by this common but little discussed disease, despite the fact that it is one of the most preventable forms of cancer!  When found early, colon cancer has around a 90% cure rate.

Proceeds benefit the Colon Cancer Prevention Project, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to colon cancer prevention and support.
