Normal Risk You are 50 years of age or older with:
No family history of Colon Cancer
Family history is defined as a primary or secondary relative (i.e. mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, aunt or uncle)
No family history of Colon Polyps
Colon polyp is a growth found in the colon that can develop into cancer over time
No family history of Ovarian or Uterine Cancers
No personal history of Colon Polyps
No personal history of Endometrial Cancers
No personal history of Ulcerative Colitis
No personal history of Crohn's Disease
Moderate Risk
You are 50 years of age or older with:
Family History of Colon Cancer or Colon Polyps
Family History of Ovarian or Uterine Cancers History of Adenomatous Colon Polyps
History of Ulcerative Colitis for less than 10 years
History of Crohn's disease for less than 10 years
High Risk
Family History of Colon Cancer
Family History of Uterine or Ovarian Cancer
Primary Relative with Colon Cancer (i.e. mother, father, brother or sister)
Family History of Cancer Syndromes including Polyposis
History of multiple Adenomatous Colon Polyps (greater than 3)
Personal History of Colon Cancer
Personal History of Ulcerative Colitis for greater than 10 years
History of Crohn's Disease for greater than 10 years
